The latest National Aggregates Congress was held on 24-26 October. On this occasion the organiser was ARIGAL (the Galician Aggregates Association), and the venue selected was Santiago de Compostela (Spain).
TH attended the SIM exhibition, held this year in Clermont-Ferrand (France) on 17-19 October.
The MPT is an annual international seminar on mineral processing technology. This was the 17th edition. It was held in Dhanbad (India) from 10-12 October, at the Indian Institute of Technology.
This year·s Expomina trade fair was held in Lima (Peru) on 12-14 September, concurrently with the 3rd CONFEMIN International Mining Conference. TH used the opportunity provided by this event to forge closer links with customers and monitor the latest innovations in the industry.
Expopesca in Ecuador is a conventional trade fair with stands. It is held every two years, usually in Manta. The 8th edition was held on 6-8 June. It was a prime meeting point for representatives of the governments of 18 countries, with over 120 exhibitors and purchasers from numerous countries.
The journal Infofish organises a conference on tuna every two years in Bangkok, Thailand. This is probably the world·s leading event in the tuna industry, especially in terms of visitor numbers. Bangkok is usually the benchmark location for the setting of tuna prices. Thailand has no tuna fleet of its own but processes more tuna than any other country.
